Prototype build for the Corruptor 3.0

The Corruptor is a brutal and glitchy sounding CMOS-based octave up fuzz and ring modulator.

 

It turns your guitar signal into a square wave and modulates it against an internal oscillator. The ring modulated sound can be blended with the square wave fuzz that can be either straight fuzz or one octave up for extra insanity. It uses XOR logic gates for the ring modulation, just like the Korg MS20 synthesizer.

 

Another similar Parasit Studio pedal is the Xor'cist which also added a stutter modulation.

Demo of the old 1.0 version which doesn't have the blend pot, the octave switch and the CV input (to modulate the carrier frequency) that the current 3.0 PCB has.
